Create a Windows 10 Collection

For this section we will need to create a collection called Windows 10.

Now let’s create the Windows 10 collection from within Configuration Manager, using the direct rule instead of the Query Rule.

• From SASCCM01, open Configuration Manager, from the Workspace click Assets and Compliance, right click on device collections, click Create Device Collection.
• For a name type Windows 10, click browse, click ALL Systems, then click ok, then click next.• Click Add Rule, click Direct Rule, click next.
• From Attribute name, click the down arrow, at the top select name
• For Value Type SAWS01, click next
• Click the check box beside SAWS01, click next, next again several times, then close.

From the List View, Device Collections, double click on the Windows 10 collection, ITFSW02 is displayed.
