Note: This is only a requirement if you're setting up your own IT lab and not using the ServerAcademy IT Labs

In this lecture, we are going to download the required software to install SCCM version 1902 with Endpoint Protection.

If you are a student at ServerAcademy.com and you are using our IT Labs then you DO NOT need to download these files, they are already downloaded and pre-loaded on the IT Labs.

You only need to download the software if you want to set up your own IT Lab in VirtualBox or Hyper-V or you want to install it in your production network at work.

Most of the time you cannot directly install the latest available version of SCCM, but instead, need to install a version or two before the latest and then complete an in-console upgrade.

This is the software that we will be using. Download these files to your SCCM server:

NOTE: Download the files to the SCCM server before proceeding on to the next lectures.

All of these downloads that I have listed aside from Windows 10 and the Windows Server operating system are going to be downloaded to the SASCCM01 server. This is because we won't be setting up a separate SQL Server as that just a lot of people can’t afford that in their Lab environment, so the hardware can’t afford the extra virtual machine.

So we will be installing everything, the SCCM, the ADK, and SQL server all on SASCCM01 server. So the links are provided inside of this lecture for all these downloads so if you want to set this up in your own lab you can do that by just clicking these links and getting the download started.

I recommend that you go ahead and start that now since some of these downloads will take some time.

Hello Ricardo,

Yes, I am doing it on my local lab. I downloaded the Managing End Point Protection Configuration Manager (MEM) 2203, but that is missing some files on the SCCM

Sorry Ricardo,

What I meant was that my home lab has Server 2016 installed. Will all the downloads work for these lessons for SCCM or do I need to install Server 2019 for my home lab?
